This is a very new field for me: using supplements and protein drinks to boost my exercise routine and give me a leg up. I've never been very good about taking supplements. To be completely honest, it took my getting pregnant just to commit to taking a prenatal vitamin everyday. As a breastfeeding momma, Willowmade only recommends I use their FUEL protein mix, so that's what I'm doing. I like to mix it with my milk every morning. It's actually really tasty, unlike most "health" drinks and mixes I've had in the past. Nothing gritty or chalky about this one, just delicious chocolate milk. I've been drinking it every morning for about a month now, and (along with my daily BBM workouts) I'm crediting a lot of my inches and weight loss to this drink. It curbs my appetite and gives me the energy I need to get through my day without coffee or naps. I actually look forward to it in the mornings because it's so delicious. Once I'm done breastfeeding, I look forward to trying their pre-workout (Vital Energy). Hubby drinks it every now and then when he's feeling sluggish at work and it really gives him the boost he needs to get through another shift in the warehouse.
