Previous Challenges

The Current Challenge

A little history

I have never been a very healthy person. That is not to say that I was unhealthy, I just wasn't very health conscious until August 2014, when I weighed nearly 200 lbs (198.7 to be exact) and was about to give birth to our first son. I decided that was unacceptable, and committed to getting in shape and being healthy as soon as the doctor approved working out. I lost 20 pounds within the first couple weeks of giving birth, and then I was stuck.
I spent the remaining month of my "6 weeks of postpartum recovery" researching, trying to find a workout program that didn't cost a fortune, that I thought I could commit myself to.
Enter Bikini Body Mommy. For 20 minutes a day, 6 days a week, I could workout in my living room, for free, while the baby napped in the swing/playpen/bouncer. It was GREAT! I lost another 15 pounds, but then I got lazy. Slacked off and went back up to 175 pounds. I was so frustrated with myself, I planned to rededicate myself to working out and then I found out we were pregnant again.
I spent my entire pregnancy very aware of what I was eating, drinking, and even working out (once I got through the first trimester of misery).
Our second son was born in September 2016 and I started working out again at 4 weeks postpartum. I can't wait to see my progress and share it with all of you. Let's do this!!

I meant to post this a couple days ago. Saturday was a milestone for Kylar and I. He has officially lived outside of me for as long as he lived inside of me. 39 weeks postpartum. I'm still working to get my body to where I want it, but I'm damn proud of the progress I've made so far. × × × #momlife #babyfun #toddleradventures #momblog #momblogger #mommyblogger #mommyblog #mumlife #mamalife #onenerdymomma #instamom #momsofinstagram #momsofig #fitmom #fitlife #lovewillowmade #goals #weightlossgoals #weightloss #fitisbeautiful #motivation #nerdyandfit #priorities #loveyourself #motivate #motivation #inspriation #inspire #progress #postpartum
