I have been looking forward to this movie for nearly a year. Over the course of the last couple years, I have learned more and more about Harley Quinn: her background, her dynamic with the Joker, her dynamic with Deadshot, her role in the Suicide Squad, etc. I have been slowly becoming obsessed and have been working to learn everything I can about her. Needless to day, I was super excited when I saw the first trailer for this flick.
Hubby and I had an early-ish morning date yesterday to watch this particular film in IMAX.
Hubby likes to read reviews, from both critics and the general public, after seeing something he really had an opinion about. The critics have been especially harsh, and (in my opinion) inaccurately so.
Alright, y'all, let me first say that this movie is rated R for a reason. Deadpool is not and has never been a kid-friendly "hero", hell most of the time I'm not even sure he's actually a hero at all. He's a self-motivated guy with mutant powers and a smart mouth. I love him.
