Ah, make up. You either love it or hate it, am I right? Personally, I went through a borderline "goth" phase in high school and spend way too long putting on way too much make up every day. Since then, I've gone back to the basics and typically only do mascara. Since having Kylar and my hormones going absolutely bonkers, I've had to add my eye brows to my daily make up routine. When Influenster sent me Maybelline's Brow Drama Shaping Chalk and Precise Micro Pencil, I was beyond thrilled to test them out.

Let's start with the chalk. I have to be honest, I wasn't a huge fan of the chalk. It just didn't work for me. As you can see, I have very thin eye brows. The chalk was just too thick for me to apply without looking like I'd taken a fat, brown marker to my face.
If you have thicker eye brows, this chalk would (most likely) work wonderfully. It does fill in the area very effectively, it just looks absolutely ridiculous if you don't have some hair for it to fill out. My face is just too hairless.
As for removal, it was incredibly easy. It came off with a little water and a wash cloth, which (as a busy/lazy mom) I find very important since I tend to just remove my make up while in the shower.
The Precise Micro Pencil is a godsend as far as I'm concerned. It's so tiny that you can literally draw on individual hairs, if you have that kind of time and patience. Prior to receiving these two, I had been using e.l.f.'s brow powder kit. It's effective, but I would end up spending as much time putting it on as I was using a baby wipe to clean it up and make it look more deliberate. With this teeny, tiny pencil, I don't have to do that. I am in love with this Precise Micro Pencil and I will probably never go back to my powder and angled brush.
Another added plus with this little pencil is the eye brow brush on the end. It helps you to brush and smooth your eye brows before highlighting them with the pencil. That way you don't have any stragglers or anyone sticking out at odd angles.
I think my favorite part about this Micro Pencil is that I don't have to do any touch ups throughout the day. I have naturally oily skin so when I used powder, I tended to have to do touch ups a couple times during the day. That was just not the case with the Micro Pencil and I really appreciate that.
Removal with the Micro Pencil is just as easy as removing the Chalk, just water and a wash cloth, a bit of scrubbing (like you would normally do while washing your face) and it was gone.
