We got to test drive this little beauty over the last few weeks. This one came to us from the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I'm excited to share our thoughts with you.

I pulled my husband in to help me assess and evaluate this particular one. When things are techy, I like to get his opinion. He loves tech crap and he loves researching it, so I figured this would be right up his alley! We've been playing with this monitor for a couple weeks now, so we've gotten a pretty good feel for it.
My biggest complaint is the placement. You have to have a perfectly placed shelf or dresser to sit the camera on. There is no option for mounting it on the wall, which is what we needed. I ended up buying Command Strips and using those to attach it to the wall because we don't have perfect placement. I honestly think this monitor is fantastic. I love having a video feed to check in on him and see if he's actually awake or just talking in his sleep. When he's older, I'll move the monitor into the playroom so we can keep an eye on them while they play.
I love the app, and the security seems pretty solid. You have to have my user name and password to log in to the app and see our feed, which is very comforting. I have the password, and so does my husband. That's it. So we can both check in on him whenever and wherever we want. You don't have to be on the WiFi to check in, but it does notify you if you're opening the app without WiFi (for data usage). The app does the same things as the tablet, which is why I think the tablet is a bit redundant. They could sell the camera alone, for half the price. Or, better yet, make the camera quality even better and ditch the tablet.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this monitor, if you have a couple hundred bucks to spare. It's a great quality and it's very handy.
