Wearing your baby is, in my opinion, one of the best things you can do. It keeps the baby happy, especially newborns that just want to touch and be held, while allowing you to still function. Grocery shopping, going for a walk, even just cooking or cleaning around the house.
On those days where he just wants to be held, wearing him saves my sanity and makes him happy.
I bought mine from etsy for $35. Unfortunately, the shop I bought it from (back in 2014) doesn't exist anymore. You can search for "cotton gauze baby wrap" and find other shops that carry them (or just click here), or try a more mainstream brand (Kanga, Moby) that you can get at Target or Babies 'R Us. I like the gauze wraps, rather than the Moby, because I live in Texas, and (in case you didn't know) it's damn hot here 11 months out of the year. Gauze breathes better and keeps us from sweating as much.
