I love getting packages in the mail. Especially when those packages are filled with awesome, free, things for us to test out.
First of all, this tent is a lot bigger than I was expecting. I thought this tent would be big enough to keep Kylar covered, but that would be it. I was happy with that. When I opened it, Connor got so excited because he loves playing in tents and this thing is big enough for he and Kylar to happily play together.
It's about 2.5 feet tall, and 3 feet wide and 3 feet deep (these are approximations I'm making based on how well Connor fits in it.) We initially set it up in the living room, so I could check it out and fiddle with it before getting it outside for the real test run. It's incredibly light-weight (approx 1.5 lbs) and comes with a little carrying bag and 4 stakes to hold it down on a windy day or at the beach.
I think my favorite features are the mesh door and window. That way, I can close it up and the baby can still get a good breeze and fresh air without getting attacked by various bugs.
The hardest part, and the biggest point of frustration, was the first time we tried to fold this sucker up and put it back in the bag. It came with paper instructions, but they didn't help at all. Then we found this video. The video is great and now I can quickly and easily fold up the tent and pack it away, making it perfect for taking to the park, camping, lake, beach, or even just playing out in the back yard.
I'm so grateful and happy that we are a part of the wee Spring Parent Panel and were able test this Babymoov Anti-UVA tent for free!
