I'm officially halfway through this 6 week challenge. Like I said yesterday, I'm actually a week behind schedule because of all the craziness (and me using the craziness as an excuse to be lazy). I knew today's weigh-in and measurements wouldn't be awesome, but it did surprise me
Comparing my stats from the start is always interesting. There are always changes I don't expect. This time around, my weight went up, which I expected, but more of my measurements went down. I honestly expected everything to have gone up some, so seeing any downward progression is just that: progress. I'll take it!
Over the remainder of the challenge, I will be focusing a lot on my diet, and (by default) my family's diet. I don't mean that I will be putting my family on some extreme diet (no carbs, paleo, keto, whole 30, etc) I just mean that I am going to be more aware of what I'm feeding us and make dramatic improvements: more veggies, less processed sugar, and more whole grains. I will be grocery shopping with all of that in mind this afternoon and I'm excited about it. Nervous, too, because I've never really been a veggies person, but I think it will be a great change and improvement for all of us!
