Self sabotage happens. Even to the most disciplined person, and usually at the worst possible time. It doesn't have to be fitness related either! People self sabotage in all aspects of their lives. Family relationships. Marriages. Career goals. Hell, I even self sabotage with regards to my sleep. I know I need more, but I always seem to stay up well passed midnight every night and regret it the next morning. Every single time.

So, I'm not sure exactly how I did it, but I managed to screw up my weight on Day 1. There was a 3lb difference between Day 1 on my FitBit and Day 1 in my BBM Workbook. I still don't know how I did that. Mom Brain is a very real thing.
Yesterday was Day 30 in this new 90 day challenge. For the first 30 days, I have been drinking my regular 120 ounces of water, and trying to incorporate veggies in our meals more. I've done pretty well with eating more veggies, but I think I've allowed myself too many treats as well.
I'm officially halfway through this 6 week challenge. Like I said yesterday, I'm actually a week behind schedule because of all the craziness (and me using the craziness as an excuse to be lazy). I knew today's weigh-in and measurements wouldn't be awesome, but it did surprise me
With everything that happened last week, I am about a week behind in my 6 week challenge. Not awesome, but I'm still working at it.
I know I've said this a few times in the last few weeks, but I have been seriously slacking and off track with my fitness. I've been debating all the options for in-home fitness that's 100% free and I've tried a few off and on throughout the month of October, but nothing really stuck. So...here's the plan!
I'm switching up the format and posting the week's workouts in one post instead of three over the course of a few days. This way, you can pick and choose what routine you want to do on what day, and you'll get to see everything for the week at once.
As always, make sure to check with your medical professional before starting a new workout routine, to make sure that this is a safe and healthy move for you. Honestly, working my upper body always feels more like a chore I do to keep up with the demands of my boys. For some reason, if one is being held, the other instantly needs to be held as well. If it weren't for these upper body routines, I wouldn't be able to hold them both (at the same time) and I would have to listen to a lot more screaming.

Don't for get your sweaty selfie! #NerdyandFit As always, make sure to check with your medical professional before starting a new workout routine, to make sure that this is a safe and healthy move for you. I'm getting this out later than I would like and I'm sorry for that. Blame it on not getting enough sleep and boys who have needed their momma more today. It's alright! We're getting it done now! Better late than never.
