“Put good in. Get good out.” ~Minute Maid
I’d like to reverse this quote to adapt it for your vibe with the universe “Put good out. Get good in.” If you send out good, positive, faith-filled vibes, the universe (or God, Buddha, Allah, Vishnu, or whoever you choose to put your faith and prayers into) will hear you and respond.
Now, I know you’re probably thinking “Wtf? This chick wants me to talk to myself? Like some kind of nutcase, weirdo, freak? That’s a hard pass.” Just humor me. We all talk to ourselves at some point throughout each and every day. Some of us doing it out loud (like me) and some are just thinking it all but never actually utter a sound aloud. It certainly isn’t crazy either way.
I’m sure you’ve seen the saying “Your vibe attracts your tribe” but that’s equally true of your vibe with the universe. If you put out a confident vibe, good things will come your way. Now that doesn’t mean that nothing bad will ever happen to you if you’re in a good mood, it simply means that like attracts like, and positivity breeds more positivity. You will still have to put in the work, but if you go into it having faith that good things will come, that everything will work out in the end, then you will be a hell of a lot better off.
Have you ever heard of a self-fulfilling prophecy? It’s that part in a book, show, or movie, when the reluctant hero is told that they can’t do *this* or the whole world will come to an end and everyone they love will die. Then they feel compelled to do specific things, thinking that it will avert the prophecy, only to have all of his/her actions lead directly to the outcome they were trying to avoid. There’s a positive version as well, of course, because there always is. Your job is to create positive self fulfilling prophecies. If you tell yourself it’s going to be a great day, then you can manifest a great day, but you have to fully believe it will happen. If you tell yourself it’s going to be a great day, but secretly you “know” you’re lying, then nothing will change. You have to have faith in yourself and the universe in order to manifest the positive changes you desire.
To quote one of my favorite movies “Everything will be alright in the end, so if it’s not alright, it’s not the end.” Trust that the universe will not give you more than you can handle and have faith in yourself and the plan the universe has in store for you.
Put good out into the world and get good in return.
