I've been in a crafty mood lately. Maybe I've been spending too much time on Pinterest, but I've been shopping for ideas for the boys' birthdays this summer and I couldn't help myself!
I don't have a lot of Easter decorations (really, I have 1 Welcome sign that I got at the Dollar Store) and I want to do more. However, we're living on a budget, so I can't just go to Jo-ann's or Michael's and buy all the super cute things they have. Pinterest has convinced me that I am capable of crafting anything, so ta-da!
I spent the better part of Kylar's first nap (Connor's lunchtime) shopping for free Easter printables on Pinterest, but none of them were exactly what I had pictured in my head. Granted, I did find a lot of cute options and if I had scrap-booking paper or were religious, lots of them would've been great, but nothing fit what I had in my mind.
Then I realized the most obvious solution was to just make my own! So I spent all of 15 minutes finding the right bunny and pennant pictures, putting them together with PicMonkey and printing them out on some leftover cardstock I have from when we announced we were pregnant with Kylar. I had to wait until Kylar's second nap, Connor's only nap, so actually cut them out, hole punch them, and hang them but I love them!!
Please feel free to use them to make your own Easter decorations. I'm excited to hide eggs and watch Connor hunt for them this year. He had a blast last year and it's going to be even better this time!
