I had intended to post this recipe last week, but with all of our sickness, I didn't get anything done that I had planned to do. That's what a stomach virus does to a family. It wrecks everything! So, here it is, a week late, but still delicious.
We all know that the holiday season can be very stressful and very expensive. I know some families that spend thousands of dollars just on their own 2-3 kids, then add to that their extended family and friends. That is outrageous to me. This year, I spent approximately $150 on both of our boys and that feels like too much.
I have lived in Spring, TX for the majority of my life (with a year in College Station and about 3 months in Huntsville). We don't get "snow" by the standard definition, and what we do get is rare. I can think of a handful (literally) of times when we had SE Texas' version of snow. This time? Oh, this was so amazingly different.
