Raising kids is not for the faint of heart. Raising adventurous kids is definitely not a task to take lightly. This post is written from the perspective of a mom of boys. Some of these things can be transferred to cover raising girls, but some are specifically boy. You'll see what I mean.
I recently learned that I am shockingly cheap. We had a water treatment/filter sales guy come by the house the other day to give us a fancy presentation and try to sell us his filtration system. In exchange for listening to him talk, we were going to get a $20 Home Depot gift card. With all the house projects we have going on, we could happily use that money, so we agreed to have him come, knowing we weren't going to buy his system.
I did it! 3 months wearing only the same 33 items. It was definitely a learning experience but I'm excited to share what I learned with you.
I bake when I'm anxious, stressed, in a crappy mood, in a good mood, or just in a baking mood. I enjoy baking, but I try to reign that shit in because I tend to eat all of whatever I baked and that's counterproductive to my fitness and healthy lifestyle journey.
