Fit test days are always filled with mixed emotions for me. I'm excited but nervous and anxious to see my results. I've been paying attention to my diet (I've even been eating oatmeal everyday) and trying to make healthier choices, but sometimes I screw up. I'm human, what can I say? This past weekend, for example, I shared a mini molten cake from Chili's with Mike and Connor. It was delicious and 100% worth it. Then Sunday, we hung out with my mom and sister and I ate way too many cookies. I have a weakness for fresh baked goods.
Anyway, I jumped on the scale this morning, not sure what to expect and BAM! Down 2.2 pounds. Plus, at least a half an inch all over (except my thigh, but I'm wondering if that's not a screw up in my initial measurements). It would also appear that my ass is shrinking. Interesting and totally ok.
Looks like I'm doing alright in keeping with my "one pound a week" weight loss goal. Honestly, today I feel like a bad ass. I blew my fit test scores out of the water, mostly, and I managed to do that with a hungry baby fussing at me in the bouncer. I can't wait to see what happens over the next 15 days!!
